I had so many grand plans this year. For the blog, for travels, for my job. Then February happened!
January was a solid month. I managed to publish five posts, which is impressive considering that I only published fourteen during the entirety of 2017. February came in like a wrecking ball, though, bringing the dreaded flu and leaving chaos in its wake. I spent half the month sick or tending to sick babies. I've done more than my fair share in contributing to the bonuses of Lysol executives!
So with March breathing down my neck, I'm retrenching and reevaluating my goals and expectations for TGT. For years, I have been very discontented with Blogger as a platform. There are few options for layout, and without a personal knowledge of coding, there's only so much you can do to keep your site clean and fresh. I've started reading through the process of migrating to Wordpress (can't lose my precious SEO standing!), but have also heard good things about Wix. Do any of you have a recommendation?
Ideally, I'd like to post new content here at least once a week. Realistically, it may come down to twice a month, but I'd rather focus on quality than quantity, especially with all the pots I'm stirring at home and at work. I also feel that I ought to take a good, long look at what my readers want or expect when coming here. For the blogs that I follow (see right sidebar), I almost feel like there's a pseudo, one-sided friendship; as in, I love reading about their adventures and getting little peeks into their life, but between time zones and the busyness of life, there's rarely an actual conversation or consistent back-and-forth.
But with the blog's fourth anniversary just around the corner, I've become a little introspective in regard to what in the world I'm doing in this little corner of the internet!
For those of you who are new readers or long-term lurkers, what sort of posts do you enjoy the most from me? What interests you the most?

I’ve thought about switching over to weebly. I’ve used it before for other projects and find it really easy to use and good quality product. But the migration is difficult and even my husband, who is a web developer, can’t save all my hyperlinks! Ahhh!
